Iranian gymnast Khanarinejad says goodbye to national team
Hadi Khanarinejad withdrew from Iran gymnast national team, a day after finishing in the fourth place in the Asian championships.
The Iranian gymnast came fourth in the ring event with 14.925 points in the 6th Senior Artistic Gymnastics Asian Championships held in the Hiroshima Prefectural Sports Center.

The gold medal went to Japanese Koji Yamamuro with 15.525 points, followed by the China Taipei’s Chih-Yu Chen with 15.450 points and Azizbek Kudratullayev from Kazakhstan with 15.200 points.

“I'm too tired to participate in the tournaments during the years. I did my best to win a medal in the Asian championships in Japan but came fourth,” Khanarinejad said.

“I announce my retirement to make space for young players,” he added.
